Guest judges for members’ exhibits were Ruth Button, and Helen Brown from the Calfey Garden Club in Culpeper.
The only blue ribbon in the Design Division wetit to Mary Priest for her arrangement depicting “In the Desert.”
Horticulture exhibits were for three classes: Dahlias, Sedums and Asters. Blue ribbons for Dahlia specimens were won by Helen Smith, Celine Siira and Sally Havstad.
In the Sedum class blue ribbons were awarded to Carol Miller and Mary Priest while Betty Wood won the hlue for the Aster class.
