Two of the four footwear fashions above are suggested foi steeplechasing, two are not. Can you guess? In top photo, duck shoes - in rainbow colors - are a definite fashion yes, as are paddock boots, center left. But heels of any sort, as in the two other shots, are not a great idea at race meets which are held outdoors in all types of weather.
