Mr. Wingfield added that “along with the lack of rain, the temperatures for June so far have been higher than normal. Sixteen of 17 days (through Tuesday) have recorded temperatures in the 80s or higher. Two days have brought highs of 91 degrees.”
The average temperatures for June are 84 degrees for the high and a low of 57 degrees. This year’s temperatures are averaging 4l/s> degrees above last year, he said.
