Rev. and Mrs. Ernest Cornwell and their granddaughter of Woodville were luncheon guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clatterbuck. Edward Clatterbuck visited the Clatterbucks Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins had luncheon Sunday with Mrs. C. E. Burke at the Country Club in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer accompanied Mrs. Lucille Payne to Dulles Airport Thursday when she left for Los Angeles, Calif., for a visit with her son and daughter-inlaw Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Payne and daughters Suzanne and Katie. Katie will graduate from high school this month.

Mrs. H. C. Sutherland was hostess at a covered dish luncheon Thursday for the exercise class of Mrs. Lilo Foster.

Mrs. Catherine Brown and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr., recently visited Mrs. Brown’s sister Mrs. Estelle Leake in Luray.

Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler spent last week at Chincoteague Island.

Mrs. John Coates of Bright wood was a guest Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, and with them had dinner at Brookside.

Mike Brown has returned from VPI to spend the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown.
