Later in the summer Miss Viguerie plans to do some cooking with the (children, as well as continuing their nature walks in the woods for more learning about plants and animals.
She has accumulated more than 1500 ideas for activities during her studies at JMU, so the enthusiastic young woman is certain to keep the children learning all summer.
Miss Viguerie has also found the learning works both ways. She said that the children were drawing one day, and she described the pattern ks one-humped. “Benjamin (Lann) said, ‘you mean like a dromedary?’ ” She looked puzzled. “He told me it’s a one-humped camel,” she said, laughing.
“The kids love the program. They have so much enthusiasm and , interest. Maybe because it’s different from school — they don’t have to learn from books,” she added, her blue eyes sparkling.
Renee Viguerie has obviously found more than just a summer, job.
