The title of this year’s day camp is Earth Day, and activities will have an archaeological theme. The Cub Scouts will participate in five programs — an archaeological dig, crafts, games, a nature program and sports. During the quiet time period after lunch, the Thunderbird Museum and Archaeological Park of f ront Royal will provide a presentation.
The Shenrapawa District is one of three districts in the Shenandoah Area Council. It provides a Scouting experience for youth in Shenandoah, Rappahannock, Page and Warren counties. The Cub Scout program is for boys age 7 through 10.
