He was a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Medical Association and the Baltimore Medical Society. He was also a member of the Splint Club of Baltimore, the Woodstock Rotary Club and the Woodstock United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Sollenberger Kilby; two daughters, Margaret H. Kilby of Washington, D. C., and Janet 0. Kilby of Arlington; two brothers, Earl J. Kilby and I. R. Kilby, both of Sperryville, and one sister, Margaret Kilby Tyus of Richmond.
Funeral services were conducted June 17 at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock, by the Rev. P. Randolph Rilee. Burial was in the Massanutten Cemetery, Woodstock.
Pallbearers were his nephews, Dr. Walter B. Kilby, Dr. William I. Kilby, Timothy Kilby, Maur>% W. Kilby, Thomas Sollenberger, Jr., and Richard Sollenberger.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Charles N. Davidson, Dr. Henry H. Startzman, Jr., Dr. Rawdon E. Ramboand Dr. Howard B. Mays.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Organ Fund of the Woodstock United Methodist Church.
