asson said the area would make a good work area for Johnny Ray Pullen, who is employed by the town to maintain the water system. The proposal discussed would not alter the structure of the building.
A resolution was also adopted commending out-going council members Newbill Miller and Wallace Critzer and Mayor Peter Kramer and extending the thanks of the town “for (their) dedication, energy, tireless effort and devotion to the wellbeing of our town as (council members and/or mayor).”
The next meeting of the council will be July 9. Newly-elected council members Nan Thomasson and Peter Skowronski and Mayor Dean Morehouse will be seated at that meeting.
