Holistic health course set “Our Bodies as Healers,” a six-week course in holistic health, will begin June 24 at the Child Care and Learning Center. It will be taught by Kathleen Maier, certified physician’s assistant. For more information, contact Director Mary Tauss at 675-3237. Cost for the course is $60.
Flint Hill community picnic The annual Flint Hill community picnic will be held Sunday, June 22, at 5 p.m. at the carnival grounds. The Ladies Auxiliary will furnish lemonade. “Come, bring a dish or two and enjoy an evening of good fellowship,” said a community organizer.
Ole Hollow reunion planned Families, friends an<Jcommunity members are invited to attend the annual Ole Hollow reunion Sunday, June 22, at noon at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a beverage.
Family Worship to celebrate 4th Special services will be held at Family Worship Center on Mt. Salem Avenue in Washington on Friday, July 4th, at 10 a.m. Rev. Curt Gibson from Roanoke will be the guest speaker. A concert featuring The Singing Word and other groups will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor and Mrs. Robert Dunphy encourage all to come and “celebrate the 4th with us at Family Worship Center.”
Aerobic dance classes A five-week series of aerobic dance classes will begin Wednesday, June 25. Night classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 and morning classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 10. All classes will be held at the Flint Hill fire hall. Family reunion planned The reunion of the family of the late William and Fannie Cobb Baukley will be held Sunday, June 22, at the Rappahannock Park at Washington. All relatives and friends are invited and are asked to bring a picnic lunch, which will be served at 1 p.m.
