Bulletins Fall Back The nation returns to standard time in the wee hours of Sunday morning, Oct. 29. The Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association suggests when you set your clocks back one hour Saturday night, you also replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. Land Use The Commissioner of Revenue’s Office will accept applications for land use taxation through Nov. 1.
Absentee Voting Voters may cast absentee ballots at the Registrar’s Office from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The office will also be open Saturday Oct. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Halloween Fun Fair The RCES PTO is looking for help with the Halloween Fun Fait scheduled for the school this Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The organization is soliciting candy, prizes and decorations to make the evening a success.
