To do that developers must submit plans and documentation for the zoning administrator’s review. Once the plans are approved the developer must drill test wells and measure their flow and recovery rate when the well is pumpeM for 12 hours. Wells must produce at least three gallons per minute.
The planners will consider these changes to the subdivision ordinance at their November meeting, and the Board of Supervisors will consider them in December.
The planners recommended changes to the zoning ordinance for post offices. They would no longer be allowed by special use permit in agriculture zones, but would be allowed by special use permit in R-2 zones. The supervisors had recommended also that they be approved with a special use permit in rural residential zones.
