Woodward
To the Editor:
We have been full time residents of the County since 1959. That is over thirty-five years.
In our time here Rappahannock had some outstanding sheriffs. Some of them are still active and helping us. One of the outstanding sheriffs, in our view, has been John Henry Woodward.
Since John Henry has proved, by his actions, what we can expect, we would like to see him re-elected. Accordingly, we put the printed sign “Re-elect Woodward” on the fence next to our gate. So far, the sign has been tom off our fence twice. We will try for a bigger one — more difficult to vandalize.
