That's why I served on the Fauquier County Planning Commission and worked for a sensible balance between development and protecting our open spaces and rural way of life. It's why I became so passionate about our children's futures. I served for enough years in Parent Teacher Organizations to know that too much is at stake not to fight for our children. I also worked with the American Cancer Society, the Fauquier Mental Health Association, the Fauquier Historical Society, the Cedar Run Rescue Squad Auxiliary and several citizens' groups.
I am running for Delegate because I believe that a community so rich in spirit should be represented by someone who will support education, economic opportunity and a clean environment. I am proud that my candidacy received the recommendation of the Virginia Education Association.
