To the Editor:
I was talking with a good friend the other night at our local store. We were discussing buying a good used computer. I said the best place to get one was at the local “computer swap meets” and club sales, and that he should talk to John Henry Woodward because he goes to all of them looking for good buys, amf he talks to users about the best equipment to buy. He said, “John Henry?” I said, “Yes, he has seven computers over at the jail all linked pn a network, and he put them all together himself.” He said, “1 had no idea, John Henry?”
That conversation prompted me to write j this letter. When Sheriff Woodward was first elected, there was no dispatch center. The Sheriffs Office was in the Courthouse, and all dispatching was done out of the State Police Barracks in Culpeper or the Culpeper Sheriffs Office. A deputy was on duty only during daylight hours.
