1. Our citizens are our main strength, and for many years the smallness of our government kept it on a personal level with our residents. This is changing, due to the insatiable desire of government bureaucrats and elected officials to meddle with our livelihoods and creativity.
2. Our tax base is our main weakness in the county. With only a small amount of commercial and industrial developed property to sustain the current growth of j county government (i.e., schools and land- j fill), the tax burden is shifted to farms and residential property. Even the land use tax cannot ease the burden sufficiently. Without some sort of commercial growth, like golf courses, mail order businesses, agricultural supporting industries, etc., our real farmers and retired citizens will be driven out of the county along with our
