1. The main strength of Rappahannock County is its residents and their spirit of volunteerism. This is displayed in a variety of ways; our Historical Society, the Recreation Committee, the Library Committee, the Athletic Associations, the Fire and Rescue Departments and many other organizations. Our local government, although small, works as a team to provide the essential elements necessary for a rural farming oriented community.
