Very little, if any, of this was discussed. What was discussed besides the need for the housing was concern about water resources. Kathleen Maier, who was moderating the discussion said, “If we’re running out of water, it is a moot point."
Mark Malek said a study showed “it costs the county more for each resident who comes to live here.”
Joyce Abell said. “W'hat do we know or are we just making guesses? Is there some way we can find out what the housing needs are?"
Some of the people present agreed to become involved in surveying county residents to see what their needs are.
