The 21st Annual Fodder stack 10K was held April 24 under sunny skies. The race was sponsored by the Inn at Little Washington.
Mother Nature once again cooperated, as Friday rains were gone by Saturday morning. 230 runners crossed the finish line - 126 male and 104 female - including a few bikers. Trophies were presented by County Administrator John McCarthy, Merrill Strange, and Reinhardt Lynch from the Inn.
Bemie Fisken finished last for the second consecutive year. “I am going to make it a tradition,” said Fisken. Five year-old Elizabeth Proper was presented a cup for being the youngest runner.
Susannah McNear won her third consecutive Eva Smith Memorial Trophy for the women. Phillip Thomas won the trophy for the men.
