The Mary Beth Williams Memorial Fund provided two scholarships of $1,000 each to Rappahannock County college students last year.
The requirements for these scholarships are as follows:
• Applicant must be a resident of Rappahannock County.
• Applicant must be a senior that has been accepted in a two or four year college or a student that is presently enrolled in a two or four year college.
• Applicants majoring in Agriculture and/or an active participant in the Rappahannock 4-H Program will be given priority consideration. ,
• The scholarship will be awarded only one time to an eligible applicant.
The committee is in the process of accepting applications. Deadline for scholarship applications is May 15, 1999. Applications should be mailed or delivered to the office of Douglas K. Baumgardner.
