The RappahannockRapidan Community Service Board (RRCSB) honored the Rappahannock County members of their Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) at the program’s annual recognition breakfast, held Wednesday, April 21 at the Country Cafe in the town of Washington.

The RSVP serves non-profit organizations in the area covered by the RRCSB. The area includes Rappahannock, Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison and Orange Counties.

There are approximately 60 volunteers that serve in a variety of areas throughout Rappahannock County. Most of the volunteers attended the event. Rappahannock County has three members on the RRCSB Board of Directors: Harold 'McDermott, Ellen Manson and Roberta Anderson.

Representatives from Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock County,' the county Health Department, the county Department of Social Services, and the local Nutrition Site all took a moment to thank the volunteers for their time and efforts.
