Certificate of Candidate Qualification
An election of Directors for die Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District will be held in the general election on November 2,1999. The District encompasses die Counties of Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock, including any incorporated toens therein.
Candidates for elected directors must reside within the boundary of die county (includes incorporated town(i) within die county) which such candidates shall represnet upon election. Two directors shall be elected to represent all the citizens within each county.
Nominating Petitions for die office of Director; and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed with die Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Soil and Water Conservation no later than 7:00p.m. (E.D.T.) on June 8,1999. A Certificate of Candidate Qualification must be filed with the State Board of Section, 200 N. 9th Street, Suite 101, Richmond, Virginia 23219-3097, no later than 7:00 pm* June 8,1999.
