Laura Anderson Irvine, 94, of Westminster-Canterbury, Lynchburg died on Sunday, April 18 at WestminsterCanterbury.
She was the widow of John Woodard Irvine.
She was born May 15, 1904 in Amissville, a daughter of the late Norval Peyton Anderson and Loulie Lewis Anderson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, June and Dr. John Torbert of Lynchburg; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted April 22 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper with the Rev. Dr. James J.H.- Price officiating.
Woodall-Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg was in charge of the arrangements.

Emma Mae Myers, 88, of Warrenton died April 20 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was born in June of 1910 in Rappahannock County, a daughter of thf late Aubrey Braxton and Susie Julia Priest Myers.
She was a member of the Warrenton United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
She was predeceased by a brother, Angus James Myers.
