At last Wednesday’s planning meeting, Ms June Johnson, who represents the American Cancer Society urged captains of the teams that will be walking in the relay to register by April 30 since after that date, it will not be possible to get team names included on the back of the relay t-shirt. She also encouraged captains to bring the moneys they have collected to “Bank Night” at the Flint Hill Fire Hall on the evening of May 12. They will also be able to pick up their t-shirts at that time. In addition, “There will be some thing special!”, Ms Johnson promised with a mysterious smile.
