This past week, Mr. Raymond Johnson planted his vegetable garden. He is doing well at the age of 93.
Burnett and Sandy Truewworthy had dinner Saturday evening with friends, Ben and K.C. Graham at their home in Middleburg. Also attending were Donna Swain of Middleburg and John Bolger of New York City.
On Sunday, Mrs. K.P. Grigsby visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie McFarland near Sperryville.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey Wharton were Mr. and Mrs. Doug Cumins, Jake, Joe, and Julie of Centreville.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson spent Thursday night in Lexington where they attended the Virginia EXPO Angus Cattle Sale. The Andersons returned home on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Norman of Washington were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke.
Taylor Light and Dad, Jeff, went camping this weekend with the Float Fisherman of Virginia in Remington. Taylor’s mother and sister, Teresa and Lauren, joined them Saturday afternoon and evening for a short stay. Approximately 400 people were in attendance. Everyone sang happy birthday to Lauren who turned four on Monday, April 26.
Kinsey and Flossie Wharton attended a birthday party for their son, K.M. Wharton in Amissville on Saturday. A lot of family and friends were also there.
The Woodville Lions had a good time with their spouses on Friday night. They joined other county Lions and wives for the Charter Night meeting at the Washington fire hall. David Huff of the Country Cafe catered the dinner and Lorraine Duisit provided the music.
Those visiting with Mrs. June Clark this past week were Billy and Nina Fox, Margie Kenny, Shirley Settle, Betty Lamb, Loring and Doris Kemp, Misty Hitt, Kathleen Adams, Buster and Mary Anna Hitt, Jimmy and Myrtle Falls, and Ugly the cat.

Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Keep up the prayers. Mrs. Clark’s condition has greatly improved.
