Margo Haynes

thanked these people for their hard work.

Ms. McNear then read a poem entitled “The Dash”. It was dedicated to all of the volunteers, but especially those who have passed away within the last year. She wrapped up the morning by drawing names for door prizes, which were donated by local merchants. Margo Haynes, from the Rappahannock High School, provided entertainment for the group.

Ms. McNear is always looking for volunteers for the program. The most important needs at this time are drivers and people to visit the elderly.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should contact Ms. McNear at the Family Guidance office in Washington. The number is 675-3329.
