Mark Torgeson will perform an evening of solo piano music on Saturday, May 1 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre at Washington.
Torgeson’s style embraces elements of classical, jazz, new age and world music. His compositions are lyrical, romantic-impressionist and embody as improvisational nature which reflects his classical training.
Torgeson is celebrating the celebrating the release of his third album, Cloudburst, to be released in late May.
His first two albums, Between Mountain and Stars and Sundance in Moonlight, released last year, received air play in 34 states and five foreign countries, and were both listed as #1 on Top Twenty play lists on Adult Contemporary and Acoustic Instrumental radio stations.
