“We’ve got the best team that Rappahannock’s ever had and the reason is hustle, good defense and an unselfish attitude an offense,” said senior guard Pops Aylor who played his last regular season game on Monday. He also added that he felt really great about the support give the squad this year.
Leake, the acknowledged leader of Rappahannock’s championship contingent, said the team showed a desire to win and played an unselfish game.
“We’re going to the regional and then to the state and our team effort and fan support will get us there,” he promised.
