Musical Play For Kids
Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester will present its spring children’s theatre production, Don’t Count Your Chickens Until They Cry Wolf, on March 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Sundays.
Directed by Linde’ Hayen Herman and billed as “a musical play for children of all ages and adults as young in heart as possible,” the play is based on Aesop’s fables. Right before the eyes of the audience, all of the familiar characters — the tortoise and the hare, the ant and the grasshopper, the |ion and the mouse, and many others — come to life to tell their story through action and music.
Tickets are on sale in the Box Office at $1.50 per seat. Reservations may be made by calling 667-3898.
