With these words, Susan Sutula, leading point-to-point lady rider in Virginia two years in a row, recalled the courses over which she has ridden during that time, from a very privileged and unique point of view, that of the owner-rider. The diminutive but gutsy rider earned top honors in 1981 and 1982, her first two years on the circuit and in fact her first two seasons of racing anywhere.
