2nd For Barn
Franklin R. Schmidt of Woodville won a second place award in the pictorial category at the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association’s 1983 convention and trade show held February 12-15 in Atlanta, Georgia.
His winning shot of a Rappahannock bam was taken in Jankins Hollow.
In addition to earning the second place award, Schmidt had a photograph of the Rappahannock Hunt accepted for exhibition in Atlanta.
The convention and trade show is open to professional photographers from nine states and attracted almost a thousand entrants in 1983.
