As their spring production, the Rappahannock Players have chosen “Rhinocerous” by Eugene Ionesco.
Although it has serious intentions, the play is a delightful, whimsical and provacative combination of comedy and melodrama. Stuart Eiland will direct the show for the Players.
The cast calls for 14 adults in speaking roles (five women and nine men) and an additional entourage of seven to ten actors in nonspeaking parts. Auditions will be held in the Gay Street Theater on March 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. and March 12 and 13 at 1 p.m. Those interested in participating either on-stage or back-stage are urged to attend.
