Penny Peyton won a second place ribbon for a public speaking contest at the
F.B.L.A. banquet held at Holiday Inn, Culpeper on Friday evening and then on to Richmond for the Orientation Public Speaking by Sons of American Revolution at Commonwealth Hall on Saturdy, where she captured the third place ribbon and a cash award.
Harvey W. Jenkins of Culpeper spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Jenkins.
