The statistics and general indicators of potentiality for attack, other than that I am a male and am getting older, were reassuring. I had low blood pressure, a slaw pulse, had never smoked and had no family history to worry about, was only slightly over weight and under-exercised and suffering or enduring the normal stress of the politics of the Reagan Administration with some carry forward from the Carter Administration.
It was not that I was unaware of what the immedate signs of a heart attack are.
