Nancy Reeve thought all bus routes should be reviewed at the end of the year just like high school schedules are. If these reviews are done at the end of the year, parents can plan ahead, Reeve said, and the school board would have plenty of time to review requests for changes. “Maybe we can shorten some routes," she added.
School board chairman Beverly Massie suggested that all changes be made by May 1 with special consideration given to kindergarten and first grade pupils. All changes would be publicized and notes about them would be sent home with children.
