It would violate fair play were we to discuss Castleton candidates with the election getting so close, but we w ill say that some of those races have elicited a lot of local interest. Ruth Kilbv swore in 17 new voters w hen she came to the Castleton fire hall two weeks ago and says more Castleton residents came to the courthouse to register later. She’s getting close to her goal of 3,000 registered voters in the county and says Castleton has a record for the most new ones of anywhere else. Nice going!
