Scout Bake Sale The Cub Scouts of Amissville’s Pack 50 will hold a bake sale this Saturday, October 8, beginning at 9 a.m. at Hackley’s Store.
Democrats Hold Party On Saturday, October 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Rappahannock Democrats will be hosts for a fall fund raiser at Blackwater Homestead, Route 650, Boston. Local candidates will be on hand to meet voters. In addition, cocktails and a buffet supper will be served. Contribution is $10 per person. All parents and interested citizens are invited to attend. Yard and Bake Sale A yard and bake sale will be held on Saturday, October 8, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church. The event is being sponsored by the United Methodist Church women. A member of the church urges everyone to come out, get some great bargains, some good food and help the ladies out at the same time.
