Washington’s Town Council met in executive session Tuesday night to discuss the application from the owner of The Inn at Little Washington for a specisl use permit to renovate their building and add accommodations for overnight guests.
During the meeting, town attorney Douglas Baumgardner presented the results of his review of the application and showed the council (1) procedures to be followed in deciding whether to grant the permit and (2) facts to be examined, according to Mayor J. Newbill Miller.
The council never returned to open session following its 1 Vi hour executive meeting. Miller says public discussion of the request will be scheduled for the next regular council meeting which will be Wednesday, October 12.
