Lewis Awarded

Scholarship

Brian A. Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gerard Lewis of Castleton, has been awarded a Hopwood Scholarship at Lynchburg College, effective upon graduation from Fauquier High School, Warrenton. The scholarship will provide $2,250 against tuition each year for four years of continuing commendable performance at the college.

Selections were based upon high school records, standardized test scores, recommendations and performance in the Summer Scholarship Program including academic record and recommendations of professors and student leaders.

Named in honor of Josephus Hopwood, founder and first president of Lynchburg College, these scholarships are funded under the Saunders Endowment.
