“The girls are still right in there,” said coach Theresa McLawhorn. “We’re tied for third place in the district with Stonewall Jackson, our opponent in Thursday’s home game.”
McLawhorn was still disappointed with Tuesday night’s performance. “We should have beaten the Eagles. Then we’d be 4-2 in the district — second place. There’s nothing I can say about the way my girls played. It was an off night, a really off night!”
