NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Section 6-1-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of Washington, Virginia, and Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Town Council of Washington, Virginia at the Courthouse on 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 1983, on the following:

VARIANCE APPLICATION NO 26 Patrick J, O’Connell and Re-inhardt Lynch, t/a "The Inn at Little Washington'\have applied for a Variance from the requirements of Section 5-2, Section 5-3, Section 5-4 and Section 5-5 of the Zoning Ordinance of Washington, Virginia, in connection with Special Use Permit Application No. 25 to expand the kitchen facilities and build overnight accomodations at "The Inn at Little Washington," on the corner of Main and Middle Streets, Washington, Virginia. The variance is requested to construct a rear additon in line with the existing building facing Main Street, ten feet long and the same width as the existing building, the second story of which will be cantilevered 3 feet 4 inches, to construct three catilevered bay windows on the second floor facing Main Street protecting two feet from the existing building; and to replace the existing roof raising the overall height of the building from 41 feet 6 inches to 46 feet.
