4-H Congress

State Congress for 4-H was held this year in June from the 20th to the 24th at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Members of 4-H from all the counties in Virginia attended.
There were many activities we could participate in, such as “learn by doing” workshops and competitive events. Near the end of the week, all the different districts competed against each other in a Sports Challenge that included basketball, softball and track.
It was an exciting learning experience for the three of us who went from Rappahannock County. I hope that more students from Rappahannock will participate next year.
