9. ) While the bike is upside down, turn the wheels to check them for wobble. Check the tires for wear and cuts. If there is much damage, replace them. Also, try the coaster brake to see how it works.
10. ) Are the wheels in good alignment? Are the rims straight and do they run in the center between the forks? If any spokes are broken, replace them to help keep the rims straight. The wheels can be centered in the fork by a simple adjustment.
11) Are the pedals in good condition? If they are bent and weathered badly it is usually easier to replace them than to repair them.
