Lettuce Soup 2 cups mashed potatoes 2 cups milk 1 chopped onion 1 package frozen peas Vz head ripped lettuce chopped celery, parsley flakes, salt & pepper to season to taste. Blend milk and potatoes in a saucepan to make a soup. Add onion, peas and seasoning and heat just to boiling, being careful not to scald it. Add lettuce just before serving. Cook only until lettuce is wilted and warm. (Never cut lettuce with a knife; it must always be torn apart. I forgot why.)
