1. What are your reasons for seeking the office of commonweallth’s attorney?
“I’ve been actively involved in community affairs and in county government for some time and when Doug Baumgardner announced that he was not going to seek re-election, I knew I wanted to run for the office and serve the county as commonwealth’s attorney. I think there is a tradition in rural communities of respect for the law and respect for the environment which I see threatened in Rappahannock County. The commonwealth’s attorney, working with the board of supervisors and other county offices, plays a key role in preserving the traditional values that make Rappahannock a good place to live and in which to raise a family.
