them, even the youngest ones, tried their best. It was a wonderful reward for them and for us to see the big grins of delight as they scored their first basket, completed a successful somersault or juni|HT off the diving board for the first time.
And the junior counselors, high school students themselves, rose to an incredible level of adult responsibility as they found themselves looked up to. and even “adored", as instructors and leaders. This was our greatest source of pride, and we hope theirs, as they found the qualities of leadership and caring within themselves.
The 4-H cooperative day camp ran from 1* a.m. to M:M<) p m. and included six activity periods and a half hour for lunch. Activities included swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, drama, music, basketball, tumbling, soccer, volleyball, canoeing and nature hikes.
