A note went home from school to the Catwauler residence in Smog Hollow last week. It seems that little Blossom had been misbehaving in the lunch room. Now her daddy Apple Catwauler believes that he should keep order at home and the teachers should keep order at school. Course, he wants to hear if his young ’uns do anything serious but he expects the school people to take care of minor prohlems in their bailiwick. Well. Blossom’s teacher reported that the little girl had committed the terrible crime of throwing mashed potatoes in the lunch room.
“Where did they land, ma’m?” asked Catwauler.
“Right in Johnny Smith's plate,” was the answer.
“Why, that’s just terrible!” Catwauler commiserated. “The wife and I will have to talk to that child as soon as she gets home. We surely taught her to aim better than that!”
