Thrift Shop
The Washington Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop will be open on Thursday, beginning October 6, as well as every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The shop will also be open on Saturday, October 15.
Special bargains can be found at the Thrift Shop and the selection includes winter clothing for men, women and children along with useful household items and books.
Anyone with items to donate is urged to contact a member of the auxiliary or leave the items at the Town Hall on Gay Street.

Mrs. Silvey is a native of Amissville and is employed at the Fauquier National Bank in Warrenton. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert H. Dennis.
Mr. Grizzle resides in Manassas and is employed at Vint Hill Farms Station Commissary. He is the son of Mrs. Davis Hanback of Manassas.
The wedding date is November 13, 1983.
