seven runners also broke the record for the 8.1 mile 7 George Mason course. Scott Keithley lowered the mark hv minutes instead of seconds, completing the race in 17:02 for first place. Ronnie Atkins was just four seconds behind him I 17:00) and Chris Caperton just 19 seconds back (17:21). Ricky Shaw was fourth in 1H:05, Craig Kenyon fifth in IS: 14 and Elwood Dodson sixth in 1S:47.

George Mason’s top runner was seventh and then it was Rappahannock again: David Fishein eighth in 19:88, (also below the old record), John Dodson ninth in 20:20 and Patrick Coffey tenth in 20:88.
