An administrator is needed for more than just overseeing the grants and construction, Dennis continued. “Once the system is going, we’re going to have to have someone and (even if the planning district is hired as project manager) we can’t rely on the PDC to do it forever.”
Dennis proposed that it might now be the time for the supervisors to begin looking at the possibility of hiring a county administrator. “Rappahannock is the only county around without one,” he noted, adding that the administrator could take on the WSA’s work in addition to other duties.
