Kelly Wright

Rixey ville Resident

Mrs. Kelly Brockman Wright, 69, of Rixeyville, widow of George Oscar Wright, died on Thursday, September 29, 1983 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Morris Brookman.

She is survived by four sons, Earl L. Wright of Remington, George A. Wright of Warrenton, Jimmie J. Wright of Gainesville and James E. Wright of Rixeyville; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Carter of Madison, Mrs. Virginia Payne of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Mildred Finks of Rixeyville; 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Mary Emma Coleman, died in March, 1983.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. John K. Burke.

Interment was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were James Hargrave, Thomas D. Carter, John L. Southard, Bobby Wright, Sammy Wright, and Allen Stanley.
